Upcoming Wine & Food Pairing Events

 

Throughout the year, Communion offers the unique opportunity to explore carefully curated menus and tasting experiences with local and visiting chefs and winemakers.  From seasonal flavors to exploring lesser known varietals and independently run winemaking programs, these events are designed to educate, excite and expand your palate. Some of these events are first come, first served but others are limited to reservations only which can be make using OpenTable below. We look forward to hosting you at one of our upcoming epicurean adventures.

Dinner and a Show with Magician Ty Gallenbeck

We are very excited to once again pair up with the incredible Ty Gallenbeck. A delightful 3 course dinner and VIP magic show awaits. Drinks will be ala carte $150/pp

LOBSTER ROLLS for AMERICA

 
Join us in celebrating the birthday of our fair land with one of America’s favorite casual delicacies, lobster rolls! This event is first come, first served so make sure you get here early for the fireworks in your mouth. (Market price)

Comida de Mexico 

 
Back by popular demand! This 5-course dinner will feature Tequila and Mezcal Cocktails alongside a menu of cuisine from Jalisco and Oaxaca. ($250/pp)

Dinner With Elton Sloan of Robert Craig Winery in Napa

 
We can’t wait to spend an evening with one of our favorite eccentric wine makers, Elton Sloan. Elton is the owner and winemaker of Robert Craig in Napa California. We will drink some amazing Cabs and enjoy tales of Napa. ($250/pp)

All Things Mushroom

 
The San Juans are home to some of the best mushrooms in the world. Tonight we will incorporate mushrooms into every dish. Yes, including dessert. ($250/pp)

*This event will be dependent on the mushroom season. It’s looking good now,  but sometimes they just don’t like to pop up.

Harvest Dinner

 
Summer in the mountains always leads to a short, but delicious growing season. Showcasing some of our favorite local farmers, and paired with local wines, this 5 course dinner is not to be missed.($250/pp)

A Sea Journey

 
The mountains aren’t known for abundant seafood, but we like to travel to the sea when we have time. Let us take you on a trip with us as we once again prepare for ‘beach season’. 6 lovely seafood courses paired with wine. ($250/pp)
